Maison Hesper is the creative studio of Jean-Laurent Gaudy. Food, Commercial & Portrait photographer based in New York City area.

Born in Paris and American resident for a decade, he expresses his artistic vision through photography. His instinctive and cinema-inspired approach captures everyday moments with spontaneity.

Rooted in two cultures, his photography offers a different perspective on everyday life in all its simplicity. His emotion-laden images serve as a documentary of his daily life, conveying his passion for landscapes, cultures, and culinary experiences. As an explorer of fleeting moments, Jean-Laurent shares his story through snapshots that tell unique visual narratives.

Growing up in Paris surrounded by mouthwatering restaurants and delicious bakeries, Jean-Laurent grew a passion for baking and cooking. In 2023, he became a Certified Professional Baker from the prestigious FERRANDI school in Paris.

Maison Hesper was born from a desire to combine my 3 talents:

• Starting, growing and scaling a profitable business organically since 2012

• Being a talented photographer featured in major publications since 2010

• Having a passion for cooking and baking which led me to become a professional baker in 2023
